Lose Your Head

The second video from our debut EP to get some video treatment.

It has a beginning, a middle and an end, like a story. It was filmed with cameras and edited with computers.

The People were on Sky Sports...

Well, we were in the crowd at Wembley, supporting Fleetwood Town FC as they challenged Burton Albion FC in the league two play-off final.

And Fleetwood won, so everybody is happy! Well, apart from Burton Albion fans...

Picture from BBC website.

The LiveWyre Music Festival

Well, the Live Wyre event that was supposed to take place on the 1st June has been cancelled by WBC, so it is now postponed indefinitely...

We all hope this event can be relocated so we can get to play alonside these legends in our home town, and bring great bands AND TOURISM to our town.

That would be good...

The Cavern Club, Liverpool

We played our first gig in Liverpool here on the 12th May, and had a blast!

We loved Liverpool and we all got to meet Tree Man, the world's angriest guitar player. What a great night!

The Bierkeller, Manchester

We continued our tour of major UK cities with this great gig in Manchester. Great crowd, all dancing on tables like a proper Oktoberfest, but without the lederhosen.

The People - Sweet Nothing

The first video to come from our debut EP. We had fun making this and hope you have as much fun watching it.

The video was filmed in The Layton in Blackpool and then edited by JSTR at trippingballs.org.

More videos to follow. Watch this space...

The People's debut EP

The debut EP from The People is now available to buy from the band or from Aurovine.

Track Listing:

05 LTG

All tracks by The People except LTG, which has lyrics by Matt Billington.

Our first ever London gig!

We recently played our first ever London gig with the splendid Twin Graves, to mark the launch of their debut EP.

Despite a few travel hitches, it turned out to be a roaring success for everyone involved.

Such a great venue too. If it's good enough for The Vaccines, Maximo Park and even U2, it's good enough for us. Good times!
